Launch Out

Ever dream huge dreams of doing great things, or even smaller dreams regarding your career, academics or ministry but feel that your present circumstance is no where close to where you desire and hope to be?

We dream and dream until one day we muster up the courage to act on our dreams, but first excitedly share our dreams with those closet to us (family and close friends). For the most part, your loved ones are genuinely behind you, excited to hear your ideas and even encourage you to go for it. Well, that is until things get a bit rocky and the unexpected happens along the way. Then…well, it can get quiet.

Faith journeys often involve taking the road less traveled. They stretch you. They teach you. They greatly humble you.

Only if your faith is big enough, cast your net and launch out into the deep.

It may cost you, as you sacrifice and leave others behind along the way. It may be cold out there and at times you will not see too clearly. You will experience fatigue and an intense hunger for what God has promised. When others start telling you to give up and turn back, it is a clear indicator you are just on the verge of your breakthrough.

Faith + works + persistence + sacrifice and perseverance is just the right mixture for your cup of tea on this journey to your success. God is ever faithful.

Child of God, you were made for this.

Made to be molded into the best version of you

Made to transform and then to inform

Made to break to help mend

Made to see in order to shed light

Meant to be rejected to become the capstone

Meant to die to live again

Made for fire to emerge with a shine

Made from love to show love.

“Child of God you were made for this. God is ever faithful.”

Meditate on these scriptures this week:

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.” ~ Hebrews 10:23

“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” ~Psalm 37:35

Don’t be afraid!

Cast your net, launch out into the deep.

God is with you in this journey. You are never alone. He will fill your net with more than you can presently imagine and you will arrive to your destination as long as you do not give up. Stay focused on Him and be certain of your arrival. Remember, the race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all.

With love,

‘Biela
